In the Kitchen!!!
Every toddler`s Mom knows that it is very difficult to find time for everything. I am not an exception. Sometimes it was just impossible to manage the dinner or do the washing-up since my daughter did not like the kitchen. A month ago I found the way out! I took out a small pan and a wooden spoon and offered them to my girl. The result was stunning, it took her more than half an hour to play with just two kitchen items!!!
From that moment on we adore playing in the kitchen. Small cups, different spoons and sticks, all types of grains and even pastas can be of a use! Also this is a good way to develop fine motor skill which is relevant at this age.
Water is also very entertaining. Pouring it from one cup into another directly or using a spoon is our favourite activity)))
Of course the place around the kid gets messy but cleaning it out might become a game as well! Besides, that may teach the toddler the basics of neatness.
P. S. Don`t forget about your kid`s safety. It is important not to take your eyes off the kid especially if he is playing with the grains for he may swallow them or even breathe them in. In order to prevent such situations I put my daughter`s chair in front of me so that I can watch her all the time.
