6 Flower Petals: Menu

This diet as has already been mentioned is based upon the alternation of protein and carbohydrate days. At that you should strictly follow the scheme of petals alternation, otherwise the diet is no use. You should compose the menu for each day following the below-mentioned principles:
  • On the first day you eat only fish, you may choose any dietic way to cook the fish. You shouldn`t roast the fish, it is better to cook it in a steamer or just to stew it or use a grill. The salt is not prohibited but you should remember that it holds water in your body. It is allowed to eat clear fish soups adding spice and greenery.
  • The. second day is the carbohydrate one. All vegetables you like are good. Eat them stewed or raw, even potato can be eaten but it`s better to mix it with other vegetables. You may drink vegetable juice, add salt, greenery or spice.
  • Next comes the protein day again. Now you should eat only chicken breast without skin. Boil, stew or bake it. Proteins are easily digested. Chicken broth with greenery, salt and spices is also good.
  • The fourth diet day is the cereal one. You may choose any cereals but use only water when cooking, you may  add some greenery and salt. Besides, seeds, multigrain crisps and bran are also allowed. Complex carbohydrates need additional energy to be digested and they also supply the body with glycogen. Drink water.
  • The fifth day suggests that you eat curd which restores the mineral supply. If fat doesn`t accede 5% the curd is considered to be low-fat. Thus to go on our body has to digest its own fat supplies. Milk is allowed.
  • And finally the sixth day! The fruit one! Fruit are the source of vitamins and minerals, you may choose any fruit you like. Eat them raw or baked, drink fruit juice, you may also add cinnamon and vanilla. 
On the seventh day you may either start the diet from the very beginning or have a cheeting day.
During the diet you may drink green or black tea, 1-2 cups of coffee a day. Do not add sugar.

The tecommended amount of food:
1. fish - 300-500 gr;
2. vegetables – 1-1,5 kg;
3. chicken breast – 500 gr;
4. cereals - 200 gr;
5. curd – 500 gr;
6. fruit -1-1,5 kg.
